Objective:
To build a Real Silent Computer:
1 - I don't like listening to fans whirl around.
2- So I can have my computer on during
critical audio listening and recording.

Test System:
AMD 64
Asus Motherboard
Sony DVDRW
Segate Barracuda HD
Custom Case by 512

Cooling is provided by 7 gallons of "mystery" liquid.

Improvements to be Attempted:
At this time, the hard drive is the only noise.  I must find a better and final way to mount the drive so that the vibration from the drive spinning is not amplified by the case.

Neoprene or EAR dampening between mounting brackets have since helped dampen most of this sound.

Yet To Do:
-Build a mount for DVD and HD
-Get a better mouse pad...

Before the Storm... after everything has been cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol:

Below, the computer is submersed in oil,
powered and in use, top temp seen so far is 45ºC CPU, 34ºC System...
Yes it actually works...

Not so interesting from this side... but nice reflections...

Still Cold.. takes a good 20 to 30 minutes to warm up to 40º +.

And below...  in the tub testing for the first time...

Power is on, you can see the Blue LED on... No fans anywhere....
The 7 gallon safety tub is just in case =D (has since been removed)
