Data Acquisition Results from Sears Point 8-8-04  

Above are two readings from the same bike at Sears Point Raceway August 8, 2004.  The Black line is with the clip on P3 of the needle, the Red line is the clip moved to P5 of the needle.  The P5 line is maybe overall richer than the black, but has lots of trouble "settling".  Neither line is optimum.  The Blue line is the center of the "recommended" area to run the carbs for maximum performance.  The green line is the reference 14.7 line, which is the industry standard optimum line for overall economy or efficiency.

Carbs are (I believe) FCR 39mm if I am not mistaken.
